• We are putting together the final touches on our Military Combatives Association program.  Applications for membership will soon be available online or by mail.

• We are very proud of our contribution to the Wounded Warrior Project.  Our fundraiser resulted in a donation of $15,000.00  Check out the nice letter that the WWP sent us in appreciation.  We have already started collecting for the December 2008 donation.  Proceeds from our "ICHF Commenorative Medallion" sale ($10) are donated as well as a portion of the sale of other items:  GM P.'s autographed photos, posters, gym bag and John Graden's book.  Visit the DSI Store online (www.combathapkido.com) for these and other exciting items! 

• ATTENTION TAEKWONDO SCHOOLS...   Why not hold a benefit tournament with the profit being donated to our fundraiser for WWP?  What about a kick-a-thon or a break-a-thon?  We are sure that many of you can come up with other fundraising ideas.  Please let us know and we will post them to inspire and motivate our members.

• Always at the cutting edge!  In the next couple of weeks, we will launch our new MMA program!  Many members have requested an MMA program because of its current popularity and increased public demand.

• GM Pellegrini was recently honored with a prestigious Martial Arts Hall of Fame as "Lifetime Contribution to the Martial Arts".  This award was kindly arranged by GM Carlos Silva.

• GM Pellegrini also recently received two certificates from the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation:

• The first one qualifying GM P. as an "expert" in the field of Military Hand to Hand Combat, officially authorized and approved to teach Russian Special Forces Units.
• The second stating basically the same but for Police & Law Enforcement Units.
